Iran's Red Crescent Society has denied reports claiming that the helicopter carrying President Raisi and Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian was found. They're still searching. Interior Minister Vahidi says rescue teams haven't even reached the likely crash site.

What was the Iranian President flying? A Bell412 helicopter, bought from Canada in the 1990s when Bell opened a plant in Quebec (1983). The heli was used by the Iranian military until 3 years ago, when it was refurbished by domestic engineers and donated to Iran's Red Crescent.
